The dashboard provides an overview of the cash position using detailed and summary financial data. It features key components such as:
- Visual Displays: Current posting period and client information are displayed above interactive tabs.
- Functional Buttons: Buttons enable returning to the SCView website, refreshing Dashboard Data from USAS, and printing options for selected tabs.
- Information Sections: Includes notifications, a dashboard grid, and graphs for monthly revenue/expenses/ net income comparisons, among others.
- Specialized Charts and Data: View Top 10 Funds, Salary summaries, Maintenance of Effort, Stock/Bond information, STAR Ohio/PLGIT rates, and unemployment data specific to the client's county.
Synchronize Financial Detail
- To Sync your Financial Dashboard to USAS look for the refresh icon under your username on the left side of the screen.
- Select the date range you wish to refresh from.
- Upon hitting OK, you will need to stay on this page until you receive the alert popup telling you if the status of the refresh completed or failed.
Total Revenue and Expense
- For the General Fund, it displays headers with fiscal year-to-date figures, percentage changes, and comparison to the previous year, supported by detailed drill-down charts and grids for deeper analysis.
Report Writer
- Enables creation of customizable reports selectable by date range, name, grouping, and filters, downloadable in PDF format.
Custom Tabs
- Dedicated to displaying fiscal year-to-date revenue and expense data with drill-down and export capabilities, including top revenue by code and detailed expense categories.
Five Year Forecast
You can edit the description names by going to Admin > Report Code Mappings. On the upper-right corner of the page there is a button that opens Category Management. In that you'll see all the names for the categories and can toggle between CF/GF and State 5YR Report.
- Manage forecasted revenue and expenses with tools to adjust descriptions, validate forecasts against USAS/FIS data, and detailed simulations for assessment.
- You can edit the simulations on the last tab of this page. Either click the plus icon to add one or use the pencil icon to edit an already existing one. If you are editing an already existing one, you will not be able to check or uncheck the New Fiscal Year box; however, you will be able to edit the name.
General Fund Report
- Highlights relevant general fund data comparing current and previous fiscal years, alongside budget information.
Data Dive
- Offers insights into financial details with capabilities for strong data manipulation and export functionalities.
Project Cash Requests
- Facilitates the creation and management of project cash reports, adjustable for specific periods, funds, and cost centers, ready for DOE upload.
Administration
- Manage client configurations, dashboard tab settings, reporting, and email communications, with features for immediate or scheduled data sending.
Budget
- Tracks budgetary allocations versus expenditures with visual comparisons and detailed account coding.
