If a user needs to create a requisition and the vendor does not exist yet, we can setup a queue that will receive these requests so that the requestor can still create the requisition and get it approved. 


1. Requestor selects NEW VENDOR from vendor list. The requestor will fill everything else out as normal.

The NEW VENDOR must be created in USAS so the user can choose that option when creating the requisition. We recommend using vendor 9999 and putting the information from the screenshot as it will help remind users they need to attach W-9.


2. Click edit to load the requisition. Then double click on the attachment to download the W9. Click cancel to close the requisition.


3. Once the vendor has been created in USAS, click edit again and change the vendor to the one you just created. Then click Submit. 

If it is not showing, please try again within 5 minutes of creating the vendor in USAS.

 

4. Select the requisition from workflow and click the approve button and it will go through the approval path as normal.
