To access this page the signed in user must have Admin permissions. If you feel you should have access to this area of the site, please reach out to your organizations site administrators.
User Manager page provides the ability add or edit users in SCVIEW.
Click Admin-> Users
Add Users
Click "Add"
All required fields are marked with a . Once all fields are entered, click save.
User ID What the user will use to login.
Classic - we suggest first initial of the first name and full last name ex. cstein .
SSO - (Microsoft, Google, OneLogin) will use their email address as the userID.
Auth Type refers to the way that a user is going to sign in. This is a drop down selection which shows Classic, Google, Microsoft, and OneLogin. This will be defaulted to Classic but if the user is using SSO, this needs set to the SSO auth type they will be using to login.
Password
If you are using classic it is best to enter a temporary password and check mark 'Force Change Password' , which will require the user to change their password to something unique on their initial login.
Note: If the auth type is changed to one of the SSO types, the password with not be editable as SCVIEW is not responsible for these passwords.
Home Screen First page user will see when logging in.

Rights
Allow Admin: This will give the user access to Admin tab to make changes to Site Settings and Users and view system Auditing.
Allow Import: This is necessary for using the Online Indexing feature.
Department This is set per user based on their position and it will determine the workflow routing for Time Sheets, Leave, and Mileage. A user can contain multiple departments.
Report View Departmental breakdown for reporting. This is used for supervisors to view specific Leave requests submitted by employees in their same department.
Once the user is setup, click save to save the user.
With the new user selected, click "Edit" to make changes to permissions for the user.
Click the "Doc Types" tab and select the desired check boxes to give the users access.
Search Gives user access to the Search tab to search records of the document type selected.
View Access view the images of the document type of selected
Print Access to download or print documents of the selected document type.
Email Gives access for the user to email documents directly through MySCView.
Edit Access to make edits to the selected document.
Create The ability to create a new document.
Append The ability to add pages to a document as well as copy, cut, paste pages, or move the order of the pages.
Annotate The ability to annotate a document.
Delete Ability to be able to delete a document.
Unrestricted Must be combined with Search in order to function. This allows the user to see all documents of that document type. If we only want them to see the documents they created, this would be unchecked.
If using time sheets, leave, or mileage module, click the "PAYROLL" tab
Employee ID This is the USPS username and it is case sensitive.
Time Sheets
Enable by check marking if the user will be using time sheets.
Manual Entry Allows users to manually enter time into their time sheet. Unchecked means they must use the punch clock in order to record their time.
Payroll Period Leave as none unless your organization is using multiple pay periods.
Overtime Leave as none unless your organization is using multiple overtime periods.
IP Filter Limits IP addresses that can be used for clocking in and out. This can contain multiple values that are comma delimited. (Ex. "192.168.2.1,192.168.3.2")
Leave
Enable by check marking if the user will be able to enter Leave requests.
Leave Account Code Entry if enabled, allows user to enter account codes for expenses.
Manage Employees if enabled, allows user access to manage employees for the HR Onboarding module

If your organization is using Requisitions or the Mileage module, click "FIS" tab
Mileage
Enabled allows access to the Mileage module to enter a Mileage request.
Requisitions
Enabled allows access to Requisitions to enter new ones. .
Allow Over Budget Gives the user the ability to create a requisition that is over budget.
Allow Balance View This will allow the user to view the balance of the account codes.
Show Account Code This will allow the user to add account codes to line items for approval.
Ext. Name Also known as the USAS username which can be used to limit account codes (not required)
After adding the user's Ext. Name an saving, you can click the test button. This make a call to USAS to make sure that the account is working as expected.
Ext. Password & Confirm Ext. Password If the user will submit to USAS and wants to show the submission to USAS was posted by their user specifically, enter their USAS web password.
After adding the password and saving the user, you can click the test button to ensure the credentials are valid.
Approval List Limits which approval selections the user has. If it is blank, they can see all options.
Deliver To List Limits which deliver selections the user has. If it is blank, they can see all options.
Checks
AP Provides permissions to view or view and print AP checks only.
Payroll Provides permissions to view or view and print Payroll checks only.
AR Invoices Enabled allows the user to create AR Invoices
Receipts Enabled allows the user to create receipts (Part of AR Invoices module)
Show Account Code Having this enabled will allow the user to enter account codes for the receipt.
Once all settings are enabled/disabled make sure to click "Save".
At any point you can edit and change a user's permissions.
